Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry through this site we collect the details you provide: your name, your email address, the domain the enquiry relates to, the nature of the enquiry and your message. If you contact us by email we receive whatever that message contains.

Our hosting provider also records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which is used to keep the site secure and working properly.

How we use your information

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to answer questions about a domain, and to progress a potential sale. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and, where an acquisition proceeds, on the performance of a contract. We keep records of transactions where we are required to do so by law, including company and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

Where a domain is acquired, the transaction is completed through Sedo, which processes the offer, payment and transfer and acts under its own privacy terms. We also use service providers for hosting and email, who process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information, and we only disclose it where the law requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they remain relevant to a possible sale, and are then deleted. Records connected to a completed transaction are kept for the period required for company, tax and contractual purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
